4 Steps Forward: A full guide to achieve your objectives

We can surely say that we have had successes as well as mistakes. We must always take into account the circumstances, the moment we were going through when it came to solving the obstacles that came our way.

Let us go forward in life with the Lord. Let us stand up to go through the adverse circumstances in his name and because of these verses.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1.9

In the course of our lives, we all question ourselves about our value as persons, as children of God, and about the meaning of life. Many people have a tendency to make a negative balance of their actions over the years. This approach is not only erroneous but also provokes harmful feelings that condition us on the path of Love and Salvation that we have undertaken in Christ.

When we exaggerate our feelings of self-pity for our failures, our heart is invaded by reproaches and frustrations that do not allow us to value and recognize the many blessings we receive daily from the Lord. With this predisposition of Spirit so severely punished by ourselves, it becomes difficult to reach the goals set by the Eternal, since we devalue ourselves beforehand and we do not believe we are capable of facing the challenges that, once overcome, will bring us closer to God's Grace.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43.2

How often do we have the impression that we are always wrong and that nothing can fix our faults?

We must understand that stagnating in these questions will not lead us to a successful conclusion. This does not mean that we stop being self-critical and reflective of our deepest mistakes, or that we lose our intentions to repair what we have done wrong. Let us keep in mind that when we overcome our burdens supported by the Mercy of God, we make, from each situation, a new chance to grow in Him.

The Lord urges us to transform our darkness into light and to put all our efforts into changing the negative feelings we have about ourselves into ways to improve and draw closer to Him.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31.8

As members of the People of God, we are Blessed with perfect Guidance. This means that every obstacle we have to overcome, every storm we have to go through, we will do it by the hand of the Highest.

Let us set aside the events that limit us and keep us away from the Freedom and Bliss of walking with our Heavenly Father. The key lies in reaching our goals by giving all of ourselves, serving in actions and words to our neighbor from the Love of Christ.

"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8.31

What are our chances of success in our Mission if the image we represent of ourselves limits us from the beginning of the journey? How can we grow and mature to our maximum potential if we give up before we even begin? Let us remember the importance and transcendence that the Lord propitiates us from His Glory. No one Loves and Contains us as He does and His intention is that we live the present with Faith looking to the future as a place where we will arrive fuller, wiser, and more fulfilled.

Life with its ups and downs nourishes us with endless experiences. Depending on the decisions we have made and our performance in the face of various problems in different scenarios, we forge an image of ourselves within ourselves.
