4 ways to stay close to the Lord during the pandemic

When we become truly aware of the wonderful Blessing that is having His presence every day of our lives, we are able to experience and share the joy of knowing that we are chosen and loved by Him.


“Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching”. Hebrews 10:25

Many times, it may happen that continuous overexposure to the information that circulates through the networks and in the mass media generates concerns and anguish that little by little occupy all our thoughts.

We begin to worry about the health of our relatives and the economy of our home. These tribulations generate anxiety, despair, and fear. However, the answer to cross this instance is closer than we imagined and it is necessary to regain calm to be able to face this challenge on your feet.

In Hebrews 10:15, our Heavenly Father exhorts us to congregate in fraternal union with our brothers and any eventuality that distracts us from that duty, we will have to ignore it to honor the Glory of God.

 “In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith”. 1 John 5:3-4

The Lord has Blessed us with His precious Love. In us the need arises to fulfill His mandate through our conscience, that is why it becomes indispensable to intimate in Prayer with our Savior. Let's look for the right time to speak with God and to share it within our families.

Let us not allow worries to draw us away from the Grace of the Highest. In any case, we could pose the scenario in reverse: Let us be concerned if we do not communicate with our Savior on a daily basis. He welcomes us with open arms that realize His perfect Mercy and Infinite Love. We will be able to overcome our anguishes by honoring the Glory of the Lord from the Power of our unwavering Faith



“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5

The states of confusion produced by the prevailing reality can end up plunging us into apathy or inactivity. Let us remember that together with the Lord we will always have a latent choice and a good decision, to glorify Christ, is to read the Holy Scriptures, generating the necessary space to effectively absorb that Wisdom that is born from the dedicated and diligent study of the Word of God.

Let us ask the Lord for Guidance, Advice, and Direction to recover our Peace and let us extend this request to the people around us. Let's talk to our brothers about what the Word of God has transmitted to us and listen to what they have to say. The interpretation that others may have strengthens and enriches us in the Glory of the Lord.

The important thing, then, is to permanently remember our Commitment to Jesus. Let us use the Perfect Wisdom that God the Father gives us from the Holy Scriptures.

This wonderful gift that the Lord gives us balance and security, removing the fear of disappointing His Glory since He works through our decisions to undertake His purposes of Peace and Salvation in our lives. Do not forget Christ because He has never forgotten you.
