Feed Your Experience

We always forget the people who have experienced and traveled the Lord's path for a much longer time. Read and learn from them...

 The debts in life

“Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days.” Job 12:12

Do not leave your affairs pending. There is nothing more disappointing than regretting not having done this or that.

We must remember that even in those battles where we felt defeated, we can learn what mistakes we will not make when it happens again, and that is a lesson that inevitably will make us grow as humans and bring us even closer to God. Let us not forget that by taking risks and constantly putting ourselves to the test we can really learn to walk the path of the Lord.

Being a good person

“You shall rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:32

Avoid judging without first putting yourself in your neighbor's shoes, instead concern yourself with offering your help and friendship. Likewise, be grateful to those who, in spite of your faults, do not judge you and accept you as you are, following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Forgive those who offend you in the same way that God does all the time, because only by imitating his example will we truly be worthy to be by his side and enjoy his eternal love.

Love your neighbor

“A hoary head is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.” Proverbs 16:31

Recognizing them as a brother or sister is the first step to understanding that God sees us all as His children and, like any good Father, it is his desire that they may live in harmony with the purest love.

We must only resort to His word to realize that, in His teachings, the answer to everything is love. Nothing is possible without love, and at the same time everything is possible only if there is love.

Love yourself

“Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good life let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.” James 3:13

It is impossible to love our neighbor if we do not love ourselves first. It is also very important to differentiate self-love from arrogance.

The right balance is found in humility: we are humble enough to recognize our achievements and also recognize the distance we still have to travel, that way we will feel proud of ourselves and we are able to love each other.

If you fall, get up

“Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.” 1 Corinthians 3:18

Remember that the path of the Lord is not flat, eventually we will encounter some obstacle that we will have to overcome; It is then that the Lord puts us to the test and when we must turn to our Faith for help.

Then let us build our Faith on solid foundations and remember that with each obstacle we overcome, we will have gained temperance of spirit and patience, which are necessary virtues to travel the path of God.

Love God

“ And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, to be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him; you know him, for he dwells with you, and will be in you.” John 14:16-17

In the same way that we love our parents, in the same way that He loves us.

Venerate Him day by day, thanking Him for His love and all the things we often take for granted, without noticing everything He has given  us. He sees life through His own eyes and contemplates His greatest work of love.
