A Transformative Choice for the Entire New Year

We must never neglect that we choose the path toward eternal light. Explore the biblical quotes in this text that will guide you to recover complete joy.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

We often consider destiny as something external, something that arises without our participation. As if it were a higher force that chooses certain individuals to favor and others to ignore.

However, it is essential to understand that the path we outline in life is defined by our choices and our relationship with heavenly graces. Chance does not influence how we face our difficulties, our doubts, or how we strengthen ourselves in the face of obstacles.

Spiritual serenity and the perception that the Creator's gifts support us at every moment are vital. We recognize them in times of joy and appreciate them, but we also learn to soften pain, longing, and absences.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

We cannot overlook the presence of favorable or adverse events that might appear to be the result of coincidence or whim, but in truth, they fit into the design established by our Supreme Father. Often, these events surpass our understanding and are beyond our control.

There are circumstances in life that can only be clarified through trust and devotion. It is in those pivotal moments, where someone's path changes profoundly, that supernatural action manifests itself and leaves no room for questions about its nature.

Although there may be coincidences in which some individuals seem to enjoy greater fortune than others, in the realm of daily routine, things unfold differently.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Have you noticed how people who radiate calm and affection, who are optimistic, joyful, and face life with a radiant expression are the ones who impress you the most? Those people who stay close to the Master, who maintain a continuous conversation with Him through prayer, possess a deeper perspective of truth.

If you observe carefully as you walk, you will notice that you do not focus on the ground you tread, on its firmness and the support it offers with every step. You take it for granted, knowing that it will always be there, but you do not stop to appreciate the abundance it contains. In a similar way, we consider many aspects of our lives obvious, only assuming they will endure. However, the question we must ask ourselves is: who has always remained by our side?

Loving is difficult when we feel empty. Modern life, so fast-paced, envelops us and hinders us from appreciating the fundamental elements that give meaning to our path, especially in our communion with the Most High.

If you feel that something is missing, if you are not living fully, it is likely that you are in a phase of distancing from your path of faith and from the Divine Spirit. It is time to resume the connection with your foundations, those that provide strength and substance to your journey with the Redeemer.

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:1-3

Resume prayer, return to rest, and delve into the study of the Scriptures. Seek to listen and strive to draw closer to the majesty of the Father. Open your soul to graces instead of filling yourself with noisy and, for the most part, empty conversations.

If walking according to the path of faith supports and strengthens you, reconnect with that vitality from which you have separated yourself. Your emotions will emerge gradually, and you will restore the purpose of your life. Generate your own vitality and progress in the direction that the Creator has traced for you. Keep in mind that the Savior is your watcher and companion on this journey.

Let us remember that, beyond chance, it is our trust and connection with the Most High that shapes our future. Through our choices, our inner peace, and our dedication to heavenly graces, we can live a full and transcendent life. May the path we outline be characterized by trust, hope, and certainty in the loving guidance of the Creator. May supernatural peace and mercy guide us forever!
