An Unusual Decision

We must never forget that we take the path of eternal enlightenment. Discover the verses in the following article that will help you to return to full happiness.

"But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:16

Often, we think of luck as something foreign to us, something that simply happens without our intervention. As if it were a superior entity that selects some to bless and others to cast aside.

However, it is critical to understand that the path we chart in life is determined by our decisions and our connection to divine blessings. Luck has no influence on how we face our problems, our insecurities or how we strengthen ourselves in the face of obstacles.

Peace of mind and the understanding that the Lord's blessings are with us at all times are key. We recognize them in moments of joy and value them, but we also learn to temper sadness, melancholy and loss.

"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6

We cannot ignore the existence of favorable or unfavorable events that may seem to be the result of chance or coincidence, but in reality they are part of the plan drawn by our Heavenly Father. Often, these events are beyond our understanding and beyond our control.

There are situations in life that can only be explained through faith and spirituality. It is in those crucial moments, when someone's life changes radically, that divine intervention becomes evident and there is no doubt about its nature.

While there are coincidences in which some people seem to be luckier than others, in the realm of everyday life, things happen differently.

"o this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly." 1 Peter 2:21-23

Have you noticed how people who radiate peace and love, who are positive, cheerful and face life with a smile are the ones who impact you the most? Those people who follow the Lord closely, who maintain a constant dialogue with Him through prayer, have a deeper vision of reality.

If you pay attention as you walk, you will notice that you do not pay attention to the ground you walk on, to its solidity and the support it provides at every step. You take it for granted, knowing that it will always be there, but you do not stop to appreciate the richness it holds. Similarly, we take many things in our lives for granted, simply assuming that they will always be there. However, the question we must ask ourselves is: who has always been there for us?

Loving becomes difficult when we feel empty. Modern life, so fast-paced, traps us and prevents us from appreciating the essential things that give meaning to our existence, especially in our life with God.

If you feel that something is not right, if you are not experiencing fulfillment, it is possible that you are in a period of estrangement from your faith journey and from the Holy Spirit. It is time to reconnect with your roots, those that give strength and essence to your life with Jesus.

"Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son." 1 John 5:10

Return to silence and immerse yourself in reading the Bible. Try to listen and strive to draw closer to the glory of the Father. Open your heart to blessings instead of filling yourself with shrill and mostly empty talk.

If acting in the way of faith sustains and strengthens you, reconnect with that energy from which you have distanced yourself. Your feelings will gradually emerge, and you will recover the meaning of your life. Generate your own energy and move forward in the direction the Lord has designed for you. Keep in mind that the Savior is your witness and companion on this path.

Let us remember that, beyond luck, it is our faith and connection with God that creates our destiny. Through our decisions, our inner peace and our surrender to divine blessings, we can experience a full and meaningful life. May the path we chart be marked by faith, hope and trust in the Lord's loving guidance. May divine peace and grace be with us always!
