Changing Routine Life

Sometimes we have to take a different and novel direction in order to feel in fullness with the Holy Spirit. Explore the following article to open your heart and heal it.

"When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.'" Acts 21:14

In the journey of faith, many wonder how to discern God's will in their lives. However, this purpose is not an impenetrable enigma; rather, it is a call to know our Creator more deeply, to be worthy of His love and to serve Him with devotion.

Guidance for following the divine will is found in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, who not only proclaimed this message, but lived it by his deeds and miracles. The revelation of God's will does not require extraordinary signs or heavenly visions. Rather, it is found in the written Word, in the pages of the Bible, where God communicates His message to all His sons and daughters.

Through study and reflection of the Scriptures, we can find the path He has laid out for us. God longs for us to discover His purpose for our lives through the understanding of His Word and the use of our capacity for discernment.

"Equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Hebrews 13:21

It is essential to take time to listen to God's voice in all its forms of communication: through the reading of Scripture, prayer and contemplation of the creation around us. Every moment of stillness and every encounter with the Word provides us with an opportunity to receive divine guidance. By entrusting ourselves to God before bedtime and beginning each day with prayer, we open our hearts to receive His guidance.

When we seek to understand God's will, it is essential to be attentive and receptive to His voice. Listening to God requires faith, honesty and a willingness to obey. We are called to interpret His message with humility and to act with courage, regardless of the difficulty of His call.

Let us remember that the trials we face are opportunities to grow in Him and to bring His light to those around us.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2

Discovering God's will implies a total surrender of our being to His service. As we follow Jesus' example and seek His direction at all times, we come closer to understanding and living fully God's purpose for our lives. May every step we take reflect our constant search for the will of the One who created us and loves us unconditionally.

Reading the Bible, as a lamp that illuminates our path, provides us with the necessary tools to interpret the signs that God sends us through his word. By meditating on the Scriptures, we can find parallels with our own lives, discover universal principles and discern the direction He wants us to take.

Deep reflection, as a compass that guides us, allows us to connect our intuition, our values and our faith with the signs that God presents to us. It is in this space of introspection that we can discern with greater clarity the path He has laid out for us.

"Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own." John 7:17

It is of utmost importance to remember that God's will does not always coincide with our desires or expectations. At times, his will may challenge us, take us to unexpected places or demand sacrifices. However, we must have faith and trust that his will is always perfect and leads to a greater good in our lives.

On this path of searching and discernment, it is essential to cultivate humility, docility and openness to the Holy Spirit. We must recognize our limitations, accept that we do not always have all the answers and be willing to receive divine guidance with an open and receptive heart.

Let us follow the example of Jesus, who with perfect obedience and surrender to the will of the Father, showed us the way forward. May his example inspire us to earnestly seek God's will in our lives, to follow it with conviction and to find in it the fullness and peace that only he can offer.
