Enjoy Your Life in Community

Many times we think that we obtain better results individually, undermining the importance of walking towards the future in community.

The Lord calls us to reach our goals, fraternally, together with our siblings.

Learn a new way to do it in the following article.

"Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

There is a saying well known to all of us who walk the paths of the Lord: "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go farther, go with others."

This wise expression is one of the many ways we have to effectively understand God's call to fraternal communion among brothers, to compassion and mercy for our neighbor. Living in community, sharing, and sustaining is a wonderful blessing that the Eternal One pours over us every day.

It is a call that invites us to achieve our goals, together, becoming better and further than we could have imagined.

“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” 1 Peter 3:8

We are social beings. Since the beginning of time, humanity has built its history, with virtues and defects, in society. Therefore, we could understand this behavior as a natural order and, at the same time, as great teaching: We need each other.

However, there are times when it can be difficult for us to live in community. Whether in the workplace, leisure, or even in the family context, we are faced with conflicts that produce resentment and distrust in us, thus increasing in our hearts irreconcilable feelings with our environment.

We must maintain a serene spirit and understand that it is precisely in our social frustrations that the Lord works in us. Why not think that the Highest has put us in the right place to carry out the Work of Transformation of our character?

This change of focus is fundamental to walk in God's ways in Peace and Harmony.

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Corinthians 1:10

Human beings have different personalities and there are many occasions in which we have to deal with other people, but above all with ourselves, in order to find common points and coincidences that will lead us to a successful outcome.

It is necessary to develop within us a Patient and Understanding Spirit.

This does not mean that we put aside our ideas and pretensions. We must be predisposed to listen to what the other person has to tell us and not believe that we are the owners of the truth. How many times has it happened to us that we believe certain actions can only be solved in the way we think and an unexpected voice gives us another point of view, another option that is beneficial for the objectives we want to achieve?

We must understand that the view of the other does not compete with our own, but has come to enrich it, to give it more content and strength. Even to reveal to us that we can also be wrong.

“And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:14

Achieving group goals is a fabulous blessing that the Lord gives us in His Eternal Grace. When we live in harmony with our brothers we are in accordance with what our Heavenly Father intends for our lives.

By interacting and working together we develop our Wisdom to contribute constructively to the various projects that come our way. We understand the deep meaning of listening and learn to take into account the opinion of others.

In this way, relationships are strengthened, forging solid bonds between colleagues that lead to friendships that enhance our feelings of understanding, solidarity, and sincerity.

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.” 1 John 4:11

From Faith, we decide to love life knowing that the Lord is in control of everything.

In a world that promotes the culture of the immediate and the ephemeral, we must make the greatest effort to fulfill His Perfect Word and not lose sight of that wonderful gift that God gives us every day called Love. Let us continue on the path that will transform us into the people the Highest has called us to be.
