Feed Your Hope: A Guide to Increase It Now

Hope can be nurtured, exercised, and put into a level of intervention in complicated moments. Learn how to use this guide and shield of life in the following article.

“to be made new in the attitude of your minds” Ephesians 4:23

We will never find a better life than the one God has planned for us. Why you may ask? Our Father has the ability to transform challenges, disasters, and difficulties into endless love, peace, and justice. Many times we find ourselves living at a time in our lives when sad experiences keep us away from prayer and the Holy Spirit. But it is precisely these types of situations that give us the opportunity to draw closer to Him than ever before. Jesus transforms and forgives all sin, inviting us to pray and acting from what our heart dictates, always keeping us close to His spiritual guidance.

“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.” Psalms 119:114

Jesus' sacrifice on the cross gave us eternal life, filling with light those emotional voids that often dominate us. We will be believers in his work and will have the privilege of having a mentor we can trust and depend on. The Lord, through the Holy Spirit, will show us the path of good and will ask us to change our habits. From reading His Word to praying to connect with His Spirit, to gathering in fellowship to love and serve our neighbor.

Our life can change and be different if we really trust and surrender to Him. We should not be content with the comfort and resignation of fate. The path we take and our motivations will always have the strength of Faith.

“Those who walk righteously and speak what is right, who reject gain from extortion and keep their hands from accepting bribes,

who stop their ears against plots of murder and shut their eyes against contemplating evil they are the ones who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.

Their bread will be supplied, and water will not fail them.” Isaiah 33:15-16

As human beings, we have the capacity for self-improvement. But we always fall into the error of believing that many times we must overcome obstacles autonomously and without receiving any help. It turns out to be a lonely and overwhelming place, where we are not allowed to see and understand that in reality the feeling of being stuck is produced for no reason at all.

We must always know that God and the Holy Spirit will be there to grant us strength and give us a direction of thoughts and attitudes that will totally overcome. This is why some of us need to go through difficult situations and moments of conflict to entrust ourselves to God. Our Father shows us the pain so that we do not forget the Faith and the Holy Spirit.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

It is very evident that we turn to God, we turn to Him and to Faith in the most desperate moments. When economic problems reign. When we are trapped by illnesses or we have difficult situations with our partners. It may be understandable for many people but we should not fall into this mechanism, since Jesus has always accompanied us and desires from His heart that the Holy Spirit penetrates and guides us at all times and places. We cannot only count on Him as if He were a miraculous amendment. We have to know how to share daily prayer and preach actions of Faith, in order to feel close to our Heavenly Father. This is the only way to feel close to spiritual healing.
