How do we develop our Confidence in God?

Iis very important to recompose and revitalize our pact with the Highest, understanding that His times are different and perfect.

He, in His Eternal Mercy, is constantly working in us for our Good. Let us not allow unfavorable circumstances to turn us away from His Guidance on the path of Salvation.

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” Psalms 143:8

Modern society, with its dizzying and demanding pace, exposes us at times to situations of stress and uncertainty. We can become overwhelmed by the many pressures that demand effective and immediate decisions from us.

In order to face the challenges that daily life poses to us, we need to have high self-confidence and self-esteem. In turn, to be strengthened before the onslaughts of life, we need to have confidence in the Lord. We should not be confused and think that this confidence and esteem, which allow us to overcome the obstacles in the best way, transform us into self-sufficient beings. Let us remember that we are the Creation of the Highest and that all the value and dignity we may have is the product of His Eternal Love and Perfect Mercy .

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

As active members of the People of God, we must know that Trust is one of the fundamental values we can have. The Lord has designated a path of Peace and Salvation for each one of us and to travel it requires Commitment and Faith.

When we have a low perspective of ourselves, we begin to disbelieve everything around us. It is as if a blindfold is hanging over our eyes, preventing us from recognizing the wonderful Blessings our Heavenly Father gives us every day.

To walk the paths of the Lord in a healthy and enthusiastic way, we must have a proper view of ourselves. If we fall into the erroneous interpretation that we are worthless or unworthy of the good things that God keeps for us, we will be lowering our chances of fulfilling the purposes that the Eternal has set for our growth.

“Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord.” Proverbs 16:20

What does it mean, then, to trust God? By trusting in the Lord, we acquire the conviction that our journey through life will be just and restorative. This Faith is constantly nourished through the conscious reading of his Word; through it, we strengthen our Confidence by removing insecurities and fear from our hearts.

“Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.” Psalms 37:3

When we trust in the Lord we know that at the same time we are strengthening our determination and courage to face the storms that may come our way. This courage with which Christ has blessed us will help us to realize all our desires.  Let us approach without modesty or fear and make His Perfect Word a priority in our lives to know His Heart, His Authority, and His Mercy.

Although most of the time we understand that our Heavenly Father cares for us, that He wants the best for our lives, and that no one like Him can be so involved in our lives; It may happen that there are instances where our Faith is diminished by having the wrong impression that his answers do not come in the terms that we intend.

When this decline in Faith is accentuated, we run the risk of placing our trust in places that will not bring us any benefit, but on the contrary, they will make us believe that we do not need God and that we are self-sufficient.
