Loving God means much more than feeling affection for Him, it is a connection that goes beyond all feeling. Reading this advice will guide us to the path of the Faith.

“Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people.” Proverbs 3:3-4

Let us ponder for a moment on the privilege of having a wonderful Father, a Father who never abandons us. The nicest thing of all is that He has not moved, He is always where He should be, and when we come to Him we are safe because our Father will be in charge of fighting for us, we just have to get to where He is.

“ I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. Ephesians 3:16-17

Praise God for the opportunity to live, forgetting our own difficulties and discomforts. So that, for the glory of His name, we will become a living example of His teachings and infinite love towards His children.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:15-16

Loving God means much more than feeling affection for Him, it is a connection that goes beyond all feeling. We show that we love God when we obey His commandments and put His word into practice; and in return we get the gift of eternal life.

“But, as it is written, 'what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him'—” Corinthians 2:9

We have to rejoice in God's love after placing our problems in His hands, so that we may rest in His desire for our life. Our challenge is to put aside worries, because the Lord controls the present and has plans for our future.
