Obstacles to Consider When Growing Up

Get to know the situations that may arise along the way. Let's discover some of the most unthinkable ones in the following article.

"Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it." Isaiah 30:20-21

Fear, temptations, doubt, self, self-doubt, goal and deception are all aspects that can affect our spiritual life and our relationship with God. It is important to recognize and address these challenges in order to strengthen our faith and grow in our Christian walk.

Fear is a natural feeling that we all experience at some point in our lives. However, when we allow fear to feed on our insecurities, it can become an obstacle in our spiritual journey. It is essential to remember that God has given us a spirit of power, love and self-control, and that we can trust Him to overcome any fear we face.

"But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.." Job 23:10-12

Temptations are a reality in the life of every believer. Overcoming temptations is not easy, but it is a challenge that allows us to grow spiritually and strengthen our faith.

It is important to remember that Jesus was also tempted, but He resisted and left us an example to follow. When facing temptations, we must seek Christ's help, trust in His power and resist with the help of the Holy Spirit.

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night!" Psalm 1:1-2

Doubt is another challenge that can arise in our spiritual journey. Doubt can arise when we turn away from Christ or when we fail to turn to Him in times of need. It is important to remember that doubt is not a sin in itself, but we must address it and seek answers in God's Word and in fellowship with other believers. By approaching God with our doubts, we can strengthen our faith and find the clarity we need.

One can become one's own enemy on the path of faith. Sometimes our own weaknesses and bad decisions can lead us away from God. It is important to recognize our failures and seek God's help to strengthen our spirit and resist temptations.

Humility and dependence on God are key to overcoming our own obstacles and growing in our relationship with Him.

"That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you." Deuteronomy 13:5

Fixing our attention on the goal is important, but we must also remember the importance of the present. Sometimes, we focus so much on achieving our spiritual goals that we neglect the trials and challenges that we face in the present.

It is essential to live each day with an attitude of gratitude and to seek God's will in every moment. In doing so, we will find deeper spiritual growth and a greater connection with God.

"For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what your hands have made." Deuteronomy 31:29

Deception is one of the enemy's most common strategies to lead us away from God. Temptations can take many forms and can easily deceive us if we are not alert. Remaining in constant communion with Christ helps us to discern deception and resist temptation.

Prayer, the study of God's Word and the community of believers are powerful tools to keep us firm in our faith and avoid being deceived.

Fear, temptations, doubt, self, goal and deception are common challenges in our spiritual life. Recognizing and addressing these challenges helps us to strengthen our faith and grow in our relationship with God.

With the help of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome these obstacles and live a full and meaningful life in our Christian faith.
