Recovering from What We Have Lived

Some wounds from the past may continue into our present day. Find out how to heal in the next article.

"For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6

Some situations we have lived through have been responsible for generating shocks and fears in our inner being. Sometimes individually we create, consciously or unconsciously some others and it is there where lies a huge range of possibilities where we lose the course of Faith.

Those scars are life lessons that we must go through in order to get closer to the Holy Spirit.

Those pains are opportunities for change in order to walk in a more balanced way along the path of the Lord.

Broken things should not be thrown away, they are not discarded. The same is true of human beings, the people around us. They are not to be consumed and discarded at the first failure, the first breakage.

God teaches us that we should not do that either with objects or with people. People are not to be consumed: they are loved, cared for, loved and nourished.

"f any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." James 1:5

We have a story of our own and a daily life filled with witnesses who know us in different ways.

Each special person, each loved one who knows us and knows when to reach out to lend us a hand. By listening to each other in prayer and daily prayer, we can become more connected to the Holy Spirit and reconnect with the Heavenly Father. Recovering the hope necessary to feel happy, rejoicing and cultivating the gifts God has given us.

It is important that we are aware of what surrounds us and affects our lives directly. If you are in a period of inner clarity, try to reach out to people who need you. Perhaps your voice and your help will calm someone who needs some peace of mind.

If, on the other hand, you need a conversation with yourself, a friend, a friend or a trusted family member, don't hesitate to reach out. They will be more than happy to help you, involving the Lord in this universal healing.

"This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." Psalm 34:6

It turns out that sometimes we do not know how or when to do it, but it is clear that we need to ask for help. It doesn't matter what kind of event makes you feel that need in your mind and inside.

For the emotional configuration of each human being, the resolution of conflicts or problems can determine a group of concrete actions. For another group in the first instance it will require identifying "What is wrong with me?"

It could have been a problem in the past or a current health situation. No matter the nature of the event, a sense of sadness and bitterness abounds in our being from which we cannot free ourselves.

In addition to this, it is difficult for us to ask for help or to understand who is the one who could give us a possible solution or a way to remedy what is happening to us.

"Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters." Psalm 69:14

You must stop at this very moment if you want to make a change today and now. Stop thinking that you cannot get out of this situation.

Not feeding with negative thoughts and without invoking Faith makes you stagnate even more in the depths of loneliness. Not accepting help neither from your loved ones nor from the Holy Spirit turns you into a lifeless being. You are unable to reflect and you dedicate yourself to consume your human resources in generating bitterness and sadness.

In order to heal in a unique way you have to let go of those evil and destructive ties that made you fall. It may have been a past decision. It may be something you committed in your present. But if there is one thing God does, it is forgive. His mercy is the way to the salvation of your heart.
