Superheroes: 4 cases of super strength in the Bible

The force in all its manifestations and with a single architect: God. Discover these superheroes.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Without a doubt, if we talk about strength in the Bible, the first example that comes to our minds is that of Samson. He was a man born by the will of God on the condition that he be called Samson and that he consecrates his life to Christ; owner of an unparalleled force but with a weak point: he should not lose his long hair since otherwise, all his strength would vanish.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Noah understood everything, maybe at a wrong time, but still, that didn't stop him from obeying God's word, because I've lived in Christ and had a fairly strong Faith. Noah obeyed God. He spoke only once and Noah built a ship on dry land and waited decades for it to rain. For others, Noah had lost his mind, but he stood firm in his convictions, which were nothing but God speaking to his heart.

“I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” Psalm 18:1-2

We have already seen that we do not necessarily talk about physical strength and in fact, remember Esther, who was queen when Haman, the second most powerful man on earth, persuaded King Xerxes to condemn the 9 million Jews in the kingdom to the death. He risked his life by approaching Xerxes and revealed that she was Jewish. Xerxes changed his mind and the Jews were released. To add more words to how brave and risky Esther was in saving a people from death. That is strength.

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Noah understood everything, maybe at a wrong time, but still, that didn't stop him from obeying God's word, because he lived in Christ and had a fairly strong Faith. Noah obeyed God. He spoke only once and Noah built a ship on dry land and waited decades for it to rain. For others, Noah had lost his mind, but he stood firm in his convictions, which were nothing but God speaking to his heart.
