The 7 best ways to express your gratitude

In this beginning of the month we want to bring you 7 ways that will illuminate your path. Prepare to receive the Sacred Word and the Savior.

“Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thesalonians 5:16-18

Be grateful at all times. It is very important to meditate at the end of the day and see things through the filter of our hearts so that we may be able to realize how greatly we have been blessed in our lives.

In recognizing God as the one responsible for everything we have, we will experience a feeling of humility which will guide us on a path of gratitude. Begin this exercise today, give thanks to the Lord for all that He has given you.

“ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” 1 Corinthians 15:57

Pray for your brothers and sisters. What better gift for your neighbors than to include them in our prayers? It is a true and sincere present to ask God to intercede for our neighbors.

But it is important to keep in mind that prayer is not money, so we should not expect a favor from a brother in Christ in order to pray for them. Instead, let us do it selflessly by creating a network of divine love through our prayers, praying especially for those who offend us.

“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures for ever!” 1 Chronicles 16:34

Return a good deed to someone else. When God blesses you through someone, it is a very beautiful thing to do a gesture for a third party by assisting them in some way.

By doing this, you will be forming a network of favors that will grow exponentially and be strengthened in the love of Christ. Practice this and take it as far as you can, let the whole world know that divine love knows no boundaries.

“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:36

Teach the younger ones. Have faith and hope in the younger generations, for they are stronger and more pure; and their hearts are closer to God. Show them the importance of the word of Christ through actions and examples, backing what you read in the Holy Word with facts.

It is important to remember that children imitate the example that elders give them through their actions, no matter how many times we teach them a precept, they will only repeat what we do.

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds.” Psalms 9:1

Be a faithful witness of God's love. While the works we perform in the name of the Lord are important and a better representation than words are in regards to our purpose in this life, there is another equally important aspect that we should consider.

It is making known to the world that we are witnesses of the power of transformation that resides in Christ Jesus. We just have to look into our hearts to see who we were before God's arrival in our lives and who we are now. Let us remember that each one of us is a living example of transformation in the Lord.

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 4:2

Take His Word to those who need it most. Just as bees pollinate flowers making making it easier on nature, we must bring the word of God to those who need it most.

It is our task as soldiers of the divine army which brought so much happiness and love to our lives, and what better way to return such an act of love than by bringing the most perfect life experience to the whole world.

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

Live in the Lord. Thank Him daily in your prayers and in your actions, do not forget that we are who we are thanks to the Heavenly Father.

To pursue a life in the Lord daily means to glorify Him and thank Him by making the sacrifice of leading a life according to his precepts. This means accepting God in our lives and beginning to enjoy his immense love.
