The Friend Who Will Always Be There

Taking back the love of that friend called Jesus and our Heavenly Father in difficult times. Turn the following article into a prize for your spiritual balance.

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments." Deuteronomy 7:9

In life we all go through difficult moments, situations that make us feel distant from God and his love. In spite of our efforts, we can't seem to hear his voice and feel his blessings. However, it is never too late to return to the path of the Lord's light and love.

The first way to approach Christ is without pressure, spontaneously and demonstrating the joy we experience when we read the Word. It is important to remember that, as we approach God, we will once again feel the warmth of his love and his presence in our lives.

"Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God." Psalm 90:2

Knowing that we are not alone and that together with God, together with all his sons and daughters, we will have access to feel loved unlimitedly, accompanied and filled with blessings, is the key to understand that we will never again feel loneliness and that the problems will be everyone's problems.

In order to regain the love of the Lord, it is also important to understand the path we want to follow. It is fundamental to remember the decisions we have made in our life, always meditating on Christ.

Through this meditation and reflection, we will experience a spiritual growth that will give us the clarity of heart necessary to choose once again the Holy Spirit.

"Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Genesis 1:26

Another way to recapture the love of the Lord is to share with other sons and daughters of God. Finding in our circle of friends the dynamic of living surrounded by the love and joy of serving God, experiencing the joy of having him as a friend, companion, counselor and more, is one of the most beautiful sensations we can experience in our lives.

At this time, when the COVID-19 pandemic has led us to situations of isolation and loneliness, it is essential not to lose faith and to continue working on our relationship with God.

Despite the physical distance, we can draw closer to the Lord through prayer and reading the Word. We must remember that God is always with us, and that he is our strength in times of weakness and despair.

" I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes." Ezekiel 36:23

Regaining the love of the Lord in difficult times is possible through meditation on Christ, reading the Word, prayer and the company of other sons and daughters of God.

We must remember that we are never alone, that God is always with us and that his love is unconditional. Let us continue to work on our relationship with him and in our search for light and truth, knowing that there will always be a way back to the love of the Lord.

Let us share with other daughters and sons of God. To be able to find in our circle of friends, the dynamics of living surrounded by the love and joy of serving God. Experiencing the joy of having God as a friend, companion, counselor and more is one of the most beautiful sensations we have today in life.
