Traveling on a Repaired Road

"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest." Proverbs 6:6-8

Many times we find ourselves doing chores at home, fulfilling work obligations, household chores and many other things that occupy our day to day lives. It is routine that allows us to stay in a lane, on that path that gives us a certain tranquility.

But we must not forget the path of enlightenment and glory that the Lord has for each of his sons and daughters.

We have to understand and contextualize our problems. Never underestimate the Holy Spirit and wait for the Lord to manifest Himself in some way to give us that superhuman strength, with patience and self-determination that allows us to get out of any situation we face.


"I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love." Ephesians 3:16-17

In the same way, as our good Father, Jesus gives us as a mission great purposes to pursue in life. For these purposes to be fulfilled, we must spend time in training, cooperating with God in a process of personal development.

Let us remember that this is the only way to accomplish such missions, and that their outcome is closely linked to the perseverance we develop in our hearts. This is a long and arduous process, which includes time, determination and a great deal of commitment on our part.


"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

That is why it is important to remember that we will never get an overnight payoff if we are not aware that for the reward, we will first have to be willing to give our best effort, leaving in God's hands the results He has for our life according to His wise divine will. We find ourselves living in times of constant change, where technological advances seem, at first glance, to simplify our lives and allow us to take care of more important matters.

With the push of a button we solve tasks that in the past would have taken us hours of hard work; but what really escapes us is that this inevitably leads us to a life where everything is automatic and, therefore, changes our parameters about patience.



"So then, welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor people like him, because he almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life to make up for the help you yourselves could not give me" Philippians 2:29-30

So we must not forget that in the kingdom of God nothing works that way, we cannot accomplish His plans and purposes without developing the necessary skills to be able to do so. As we incorporate and develop concepts such as determination and discipline, we will see how improvements will come into our lives, for that is the way God works.

It is then that we will truly be all that God wants us to be and also lead others to Him during that process.
